State Odds For The Presidential Winner Hit The Online Political Sportsbooks

There are many ways to bet on the Presidential election online with futures and proposition bets, but did you know you can bet on swing states?

With so much going on in the political world, getting caught up with the candidates can be easy. However, you might look for more favorable odds if you haven’t locked in candidate odds early. Political odds change almost daily, and online sportsbooks do an excellent job following the trends. Odds are often based on political polls and current betting trends.

Below, we will look at the odds for each state and discuss how you can bet on your state or swing state odds.

Betting On State Odds

To bet on state odds, you will need an online sportsbook account. Many bettors turn to online services since political betting is banned at local sportsbooks. The odds for swing states are much closer than those for deep blue or red states.

You can lock in odds once you have funded your online sports betting account. Digital bet slips will automatically populate your winning potential based on what you risk. Once you have the line you like, you can place the wager and wait for the results in November.

Below are a few odds for 2024 swing states from Bovada’s online sportsbook. In addition to the state odds below, you will find odds for other states, political props, and odds for future political outcomes.

Who Will Win The 2024 Presidential Election?

As it stands now, the 2024 election will be a toss-up. While Kamala Harris is the current projected winner based on several polls and sportsbook odds, Trump is not far behind. In fact, Trump’s base is excited and prepared to win, as mail-in voting has already begun.

President Trump recently spoke at his rally and told the media there will not be another Presidential debate. Trump said voting had already started and was too late for a third debate.

Kamala has pushed for a third debate since she was late to the party after President Biden dropped his reelection campaign in late July 2024. One VP debate between JD Vance (R) and Tim Walz (D) is scheduled for October 1st on CBS.
