Just when you think you know all the answers, they change all the questions. The first scheduled debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris is scheduled for September 10th on ABC, but a post from the former President has many now doubting whether he’ll show up.
On August 12th, Trump participated in an interview with Elon Musk on Twitter/X and began tweeting again around that same time. Despite his account’s revival, Trump still does a majority of his postings on Truth Social.
Late last night, his Truth Social post suggested outrage at ABC and questioned the rationale behind participating in a debate hosted by them.
“I watched ABC FAKE NEWS this morning, both lightweight reporter Jonathan Carl’s(K?) ridiculous and biased interview of Tom Cotton (who was fantastic!), and their so-called Panel of Trump Haters, and I ask, why would I do the Debate against Kamala Harris on that network? Will panelist Donna Brazil give the questions to the Marxist Candidate like she did for Crooked Hillary Clinton? Will Kamala’s best friend, who heads up ABC, do likewise. Where is Liddle’ George Slopadopolus hanging out now? Will he be involved. They’ve got a lot of questions to answer!!! Why did Harris turn down Fox, NBC, CBS, and even CNN? Stay tuned!!!

Are critics reading too much into the post? Probably, but he has cast uncertainty on the September 10th event.
Who Will Win The Debate?
The winner of a debate is based entirely on the opinion of each viewer. Following the debate, should it happen, either ABC News or FiveThirtyEight will conduct a poll that will determine whether Harris or Trump came out on top.
The odds for betting on the Presidential debates are entirely based on these poll results, and no matter where you look, Harris is predicted to wipe the floor with Trump.
