Can Trump Regain The Lead Without Another Presidential Debate?

The latest election odds posted at online political sportsbooks now favor Kamala Harris over Donald Trump by 30 to 50 points in the moneyline. The separation began following the first Presidential Debate and continued once voters caught wind of a couple of strange ties to the Trump campaign.

Even the most dedicated conservative outlets have awarded Harris the win during her debate with Trump on September 10th. There is no second debate on the books, and Trump’s campaign has said there will not be another during this cycle.

Trump’s debate performance wasn’t as poorly received as Joe Biden’s was back in June, but the constant online attention regarding his cats and dogs comments now rivals JD Vance couch memes.

If you buy into what the following political prop bet has to say, there’ll be no more debates before November 5th.

Number of Debates Between Trump and Harris

  • One -320
  • Two +320
  • Three +1400
  • Four +4500

While there is a significant risk for the GOP to expose Trump to another debate, it represents an opportunity to pull even or ahead before election day. The Vice Presidential Debate between Vance and Tim Walz is coming up on October 1st.

  • Tim Walz -220
  • J.D. Vance +155

Walz is favored to get the best of Vance on the debate stage when post-event polls are conducted.

Much of Trump’s recent slippage in the polls and betting futures is being blamed on some of the people he is currently aligned with.

Lt. Governor Mark Robinson of North Carolina has been dubbed a Trump protege in the past. A video of Robinson was recently discovered on a pornographic website where he suggested that slavery should return and stated he was a “black nazi.”

Another questionable actor sticking close to the Trump campaign is Laura Loomer. She has been an outspoken conservative advocate who floats 9/11 conspiracy theories and is responsible for Trump’s cats and dogs remarks at the debate.

Even Marjorie Taylor Greene is aghast at Loomer’s ideologies that are too far right to align with MAGA.

The relationship has prompted a series of political props regarding Trump and Loomer, but none forecast a juicy hookup.

If Trump follows Loomer much further to the right on the political spectrum, he could miss out on those precious moderate conservatives who are still weighing their options for 2024.
