Wyoming is one of the few US states that still uses a caucus system instead of a Presidential primary. These elections were originally to be held on Saturday, April 4, 2020, but they were moved to Friday, April 17, and were mail-in only due to the coronavirus outbreak. The 2020 Wyoming general election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, and it will see a number of races contested. The biggest of these will be the Presidential election, though residents of WY will also be voting for one US House rep, one US Senator, and several state positions.
If you want to bet on the 2020 Wyoming electoral odds, you can do so at any major offshore political betting site. In addition to the main races, these sites also offer action on all kinds of other election-related issues, including the extremely popular Donald Trump impeachment odds.

Federal Election
State Election
Wyoming is reliably red and enjoys a Republican state government trifecta. As such, it was no surprise when Donald Trump won the 2016 Presidential election in the state by a wide margin, beating Hillary Clinton 67.40% to 21.63%. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson won 5.13% of the vote in the state, as well, though the GOP margin of victory was so large that his involvement didn’t play spoiler for either major party.
In Wyoming, Bernie Sanders’ election odds were strong in 2016, and he easily beat Hillary Clinton in the Democratic caucus (55.7% to 44.3%). However, since Sanders has dropped out, the only nominee left on the DNC side was Joe Biden. The mail-in-only election is now concluded, and as expected, Biden won.
The 2020 WY Republican caucus was scheduled for Friday, April 17 (rescheduled due to coronavirus concerns), and was mail-in only.
Notably, in 2016, Donald Trump earned an abysmal 7% of the WY caucus vote, with rival Ted Cruz taking 70.9% of the vote. This cycle, however, the Republican betting odds show that Trump has no real challengers, and he easily took the WY GOP caucus, though results have yet to be posted.
Wyoming is considered a foregone conclusion for the Republican party, but that doesn’t mean you can’t clean up wagering on the 2020 WY Presidential primary. Right now, the Democratic candidates in play have not been determined, and there are host of betting options and valuable lines as a result. You can wager on the 2020 Wyoming Presidential caucuses over the Internet at any reputable sportsbook that offers election betting odds.
