In Missouri, Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by nearly 19 points, winning with 56.38% of the vote compared against Clinton’s 37.87%. MO is a very red state historically, which means it shouldn’t be competitive for the Democrats in 2020. However, don’t expect incumbent Trump to skip the state during his campaign tours.
While nobody knows which candidate has the best chance of facing off against presumed GOP nominee Trump, it is unlikely any of the current Democratic odds leaders will challenge him in the Missouri general election. However, for the DNC ticket, things are coming into focus now, particularly after Joe Biden won the MO primary. These were the odds going into the March 10 race:
According to the GOP betting odds, there are no party challengers that have much of a chance against The Donald. In Missouri, Trump won the Republican primary easily, taking 96.8% of the vote and earning all 54 delegates.
